I recently stayed at a charming hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens and even peacocks. The location was perfect for a romantic getaway. The food and service were excellent, with a quick and tasty breakfast served before an early start. We also enjoyed delicious evening meals from the a la carte menu. The staff were lovely, and the welcome was warm. a fantastic experience at Whitley Hall.
Nothing to be said. 🙌

Wonderful small old-fashioned hotel with a cosy atmosphere and a main bar. Peaceful and perfect location near to the usual complimentary port, the local supermarket, and a walk in the woods and around the lake. Also, in an amazing setting. Brand-new and modern rooms with many original features, nice decor, as for instance, nothing to complain about. Good and fab food.

During our stay at Whitley Hall, we had a delightful experience in the Peacock Suite. The room was beautifully furnished, and the highlight was definitely the comfortable four-poster bed. We appreciated the attention to detail and the charming old English charm of the hotel. The breakfast on Valentine's morning was a lovely way to start the day. Despite the ongoing construction work, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway.

Nice food
You never stay in the rooms shown on the website! This is very misleading!!! Bar prices very expensive!

It was fully-equipped, great-sized and with character. Location: the hotel was very close to Sheffield for a friend's funeral.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at this charming hotel. The vintage-style rooms were beautiful and the hotel grounds were a delight to explore. The staff were helpful and polite, ensuring that our needs were met. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the big fireplaces in the lounge area, which provided a cozy place to relax and unwind. The delicious food served during our stay was of a high standard and great value for money. a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend.
While our stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The service at breakfast was a bit hit and miss, as there seemed to be too few staff on a busy morning.

I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, the friendly staff and the room was very nice.
The dinner was very expensive for what was in it and too many strange items meaning if you wanted vegetables, potatoes you had to pay even more.

The hotel was situated in pleasant surroundings with beautiful grounds. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities such as fluffy towels, complimentary drinks, and fresh milk. The staff was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with a good and varied menu. The hotel was also located a short distance from Sheffield city centre and the M1.
There was an issue with the shower as it was not very powerful.

Lovely venue and location. Excellent, comfortable, quiet room.
Only down side was that breakfast wasn't included in the price. We paid £80 for room only, which I think is fairly pricey for a hotel on the outskirts of the city. If the price had included breakfast it would have been good value at an excellent hotel and would have made our stay perfect. As it was, we made alternative arrangements for breakfast.
